forcing the screen saver while Cubase is open

hey.
i practice a lot on guitar piano and drums and i dont use the screen sometimes for 2 hours and i want the screen to be off. i also let Cubase stay open all the time and it keeps the screen on.

how can i make the screen off? i sometimes forget it for hours.

Hi,

You can do it manually.

If you are on win you can set the power switch behaviour to shut down the screen, an easy fix:)
Edit: I’m on a lap top obviously, if you are on a stationary computer just use the power switch on the screen…

I’m having this issue with Dorico as well. While it’s true your can turn the monitor off, the programs shouldn’t be causing this issue.
