Forum for good practice in Notation

I don’t want to clog up a product specific forum with questions about good practice and I was wondering if there was a forum where people discussed good practice in notation and editing?

I’m currently working on an unpublished Cello Sonata from 100 years ago and was curious about how tastes have changed between the composer’s manuscript and modern practice. Likewise, what is generally accepted as OK for an editor and what takes us away from ürtext.

Anybody frequent such places?

There’s also an active Facebook group for music engravers. Some of the contributors are a little spicy, but there are some very knowledgeable folks there. You will get all the opinions you could want, and more!
