If I save a new topic post as a draft, I always get that in the bottom panel, and I can’t find a way to start a new topic in the meantime.
I’ve had to delete my draft, just to post this!
I’ve had this too; I think that’s just the way Discourse works – only one {draft for a new thread} per user.
