So happy to finally have volume and pan in the track headers, many thanks. It makes a huge difference in speed and workflow here.
We also very much need the ability to always see the dB level of volume in track headers of every kind of track that has it. The difference is very significant between just looking at multiple tracks to instantly see where they are vs. hovering over each one one-by-one. Thanks for listening and refining the great new feature.
FYI you can already show the fader volume on all tracks by setting the width of the control to 2 in the Track Controls Settings dialogue, with the penalty that the volume is no longer shown as a fader but as a value. The value can be modified using the mouse wheel or by dragging the value. Fine increments / decrements can be achieved by holding the Shift modifier key.
What @stingray said. Or extend the header to the right and you’ll see both fader and value.
I didn’t realize that. I have no need for a fader there, takes up unnecessary space, so the first option is perfect. Thanks for letting me know.
