FR: Bracket several consecutive notes together, even if they're not part of a tie chain

Hi,

While doing a transcription, I’ve encountered this case:

I’d like to have the option to enclose these notes together, similarly as how you can enclose them in a tie chain. Currently, the only way I’ve found to do it is to move them in Engrave mode, and since that alters the horizontal spacing, re-space the notes back to their original position. Alternatively, it can be done with text.
Thanks!

I don’t see how the image applies to the question, so I am not sure what you mean. (Is “bracket” being used in its general meaning as opposed to parentheses or beaming?)

I mean bracketing in the sense of the bracketing feature new in Dorico 3.1. There are two sets of parentheses in the image I provided. Ignore the ones that are bracketing “instrumental”, I didn’t realise they were there. What I wanted is to enclose the two noteheads into a single pair of parentheses. This is already possible if the noteheads are tied, but not if they’re not.
