FR: Bug Collection Thread For Cubase Like There Is for Nuendo

There have been two separate bug collection threads for Nuendo 15.0.20 and Nuendo 15.0.30 to improve communication between Steinberg and its users. These threads were introduced with a set of ground rules:

It would be nice to have such a thread for Cubase, too.

I used to get this every few years or so. Better luck to you, @Reco29 !

Nuendo users are more responsible and mature.

(Sincerely, a Cubase user)

Hi @alexis ,
I think you were referring to a bug list that was once maintained by a user and who stopped doing this a couple of years ago.
However, I was referring to something else. A thread which is moderated by Steinberg and which is only opened for a limited time (see links above). Afterwards, results are being internally reviewed by Steinberg.

@awesomeaudio

@awesomeaudio I think there’s just more traffic in the Cubase part of the forum. Thus, chances are higher that some users will not be able to keep their horses. But who knows, maybe you are you right about differences with regard to “thread discipline”. I am not so sure about the more responsible & mature part, though :wink:

Yes, that gent was awesome, deserves a medal for all the work he did on the community’s behalf. :military_medal:[WIKI] [Cubase 12.0.50] Issues -- user editable

I was also referring to the official Cubase bug list Steinberg used to maintain, e.g., https://support.steinberg.de/downloads_software/Cubase_6_and_Cubase_Artist_6/6.0.7/VersionHistory_IssuesSolutions.pdf. It was awesome!

Yes I remember that list and contributed to it, it was in a graph.

This was on the old forum though, and I don’t think it made the transfer to the new Discourse forum… either because of incompatibility… or maybe the Devs were annoyed by having bugs/problems and remediation development on display…
