FR: Count-in beeps for ADR

The ADR functions are phenomenal in N13. Maybe I’m missing something, but the only major thing lacking for me is accompanying 3-2-1 count-in beeps. I have a separate track that I have to manually place beeps on for each cue. This is not too cumbersome, but becomes a major issue when multiple cues are close together. I must mute and unmute separate beep tracks so the actor isn’t distracted by an upcoming cue that we’re not yet cutting. This requires mouse gymnastics and pulls my attention away from critical listening.

I would hope that we could easily turn the cue beeps on or off for each actor’s preference.

Thanks I’ll try that. Still would be more functional as part of the ADR panel. Sometimes I have to toggle it on and off for the talent on retakes.

If followes punch in point. And if you have locked Left-Right Locators to Punch points, then it followes ADR markers.

Thanks @Martin_Merc. I was able to get it activated and working. Your screenshot has one omission, and that is to check the box for “Use Audio Click,” at least with my set-up. The other thing I discovered was to turn on the metronome icon in talent’s cue feed in Control Room. I had never seen that before, since I don’t usually record music.

I also discovered that Nuendo has an ADR beep set in the Click Sounds section “Custom Click Sounds”.

I still wish this control was baked in to the ADR panel instead of having to go to two places to activate it.
