In Engrave mode;
Select a line.
The crosshair is at the left point.
Press TAB (left point is active with cross hair)
Click on right point (it is active with crosshair)
TAB (cross hair moves to left point)
I think the crosshair should only be active when a point is active. The above is confusing and needs mouse interaction to activate and move crosshair.
When neither point is active, you can still move the entire line. I guess the crosshair has to be drawn somewhere – would it be better somewhere else?
To me, the confusing one is tabbing to the R endpoint. I think the crosshairs should switch to that endpoint just as if I had clicked it.
To be consistent perhaps crosshair should only be visible when an endpoint is active?
For a slur there is a horisontal line at the R endpoint when the entire slur is selected
but the crosshair moves along with the TAB key so it is somewhat better than with lines.
However, I don’t see the point of the horizontal line at the R endpoint when the entire slur is selected.
While on the topic, I think there should be crosshair for ties as well, for consistency.
