The “E” letter for Edit Channel Settings should serve as an indication that settings have been adjusted or applied in the correponding channel and not only as a “switch” to access the channel settings.
In N4 and N5 there were “lit” indicators whenever there were edited parameters in a channel.
In N6 it only “lits” when you click on it to access the Channel Settings.
It’s not really that useful to have it “lit” when opening the Channel Settings window because, by then, the Settings Window is open and visible.
It’s much more useful to have the “lit” E button to indicate wich channels have edited parameters, such as EQ or effects being applied, as it was before.
Now it’s simply a grey button that changes color when you click on it.
