I hardly use Instruments Tracks because they don’t have MIDI Sends, so if I do I still add a MIDI Track to it to be able to send MIDI to VST plugins.
Now I suddenly realize there’s already a technical solution present, using a drummap, this just needs to be translated to a Key Editor version as well.
This will end most of my need for MIDI Sends and will be very usefull for many more cases I can’t even think of.
Here’s an example and it definitly works, using Shaperbox, C0 is the curve retrigger, C#0 / D0 / D#0 switches the Wave Palette.
So nice to be able to send MIDI retriggers just like Key Switches from within the same MIDI Part as the instrument.
The problem now is opening a MIDI Part is in Drum Editor, move to lower zone and then switch to Key Editor.
