FR: Pre-flight

This one has bitten me several times: if the information in text frames changes (via tokens), or if the page dimensions change and the frames are anchored on all 4 sides, I’ve sometimes discovered later that portions of text can get cut off.

InDesign has a feature that shows visually that a text frame isn’t large enough to properly display the text that it contains, shown by a red marker:

Even more helpful is a pre-flight panel at the bottom that indicates the presence of errors in the document:

This sort of pre-flight functionality in Dorico would be uhhhhhmazing . It could alert the user to text items overlapping page margins, or other collisions… phenomenally helpful in being able to confidently hit the Print button. Even the most careful proofreaders can miss little details.

Thanks for considering!
