At present, non-printing ‘guide’ bar numbers are on by default in Galley View, numbering every measure on every staff. However, as soon as there is anything on the 1 of a bar which extends above the staff, they will inevitably overlap with it, which looks like a mess. So, more often than not I turn them off. It would improve my QoL to have (some of) the following options:
- To have them switched off by default in new projects.
- To show them not on every staff but only a subset, like above/below every bracket or brace.
- To be able to adjust their look and/or positioning (as a Paragraph Style?) so they can be smaller and/or further away from the staff.
