In the iPad version there seems to be no way at the moment to select a range of bars, if they are outside one window. I found no key command for that and the method, with marking the first note or system , dragging the score, press the " select more" button and then select the last note ( or system) of the range , doesn’t work anymore. As soon I drag the score by tapping and dragging outside the score the selected item will be deselected. So, no way to select a couple of bars. Please make it possible to select a range of bars.
wibem1,
there is a method that works reliably, as it avoids dragging the score:
- Make sure you know the bar number of your selection end.
- Go to the first bar of your desired selection.
- Select the first note of your desired selection.
- Tap onto the Jump Bar symbol.
- Type in “Go to bar” and type in the end bar number, as under 1).
- Tap the Extend Selection symbol.
- Select the last note of your desired selection.
This procedure is well described here:
Thanks, that works!
Actually, that’s an easy one. I stumbled upon it. Go to dotted square at the top (the square with a cross inside. Select single or multiple notes and “anchor” them. Then scroll anywhere in document and use dotted square to the right (the square with an arrow inside) and select. Everything between your anchored section and current selection will be selected.
