When a cued passage strays far outside the staff, I often find myself manually shortening several of the stems, so that everything else isn’t pushed out as far. Cues are more tolerant to this kind of editing anyway. It would be nice to have a global setting to control stem shortening for cues, separate from the one for all notes that’s already there.
