Frame Break problem

Maybe someone can explain this layout issue:

I have a 2 page part, with one frame break (that is propagated from another part). When I delete the frame break, Dorico simply puts ALL the music (meaning - all the staves from page 2) on page 1, making it unreadable.

Is there a way for Dorico to simply re-calculate the layout as it would without the Frame Break, instead of me having to re-do all the layout in case I need to change a page turn?

(The screenshots are of

before and after deleting the frame break)

You should also remove the Frame Break on page 1. It’s probably set to ‘wait for next Frame Break’, which you can change in the Properties Panel at the bottom, but in any case, a Frame Break isn’t necessary at the beginning of a piece.

You’re right about the first frame break not being needed - I don’t know why it’s there, but sadly, deleting it doesn’t change anything

Can you post your project, or a cut down version of it that demonstrates the issue?

The frame break at the start, with the ‘wait for next’ property set, was probably put there when you chose the ‘make into page’ command.
