Frames for ipad

I am wondering why I can’t see add image frames and text frames on IPad.

Hello William, I just looked at my iPad version: there are none of these customisations possible.
Where can you see them?
Dorico on iPad gives you about the same features as Dorico SE.

“Dorico for iPad is a free download from the App Store with similar functionality to Dorico SE, and you can write for larger ensembles and access Engrave mode via an optional in-app purchase subscription.”

A place to compare versions is here:

I meant I can’t see the image frames and text frames

Ah, I understand. Yes the iPad version doesn’t have these Custom page layout features, like Dorico SE and Dorico Elements also don’t have them.
For these tasks Dorico Pro is the right tool.
You can try it 60 days for free, either for deciding to purchase that version, or for preparing some customised projects, which you can later use on your iPad version of Dorico.

Does this mean that in later versions, image and text frames will be added for ipad?

No one knows.

No, it means that you can add an image frame with a picture in Dorico Pro, save the project, then later open it on the iPad: the image frame with the picture will be still there. You can use that project on the iPad, but not edit or replace the image.
