Freq Note Mode; where do you set reference freq when using non standard tunings?

No clues?

Do you mean for generated frequency signals or for selected frequencies where you transform selections?

I mean it allows you to view as hz or notes. The prob is that means the notes are based on a ref frequency eg 440 but a lot of peeps use alternate tunings and I do too ie 432 so Im wondering where you set that?

Cheers

so you are looking for an offset function?

wouldn’t freq just show what they are in the Spectograph?
I mean…that’s what I see

If you want a reference to 432Hz, maybe use a Spectral Region? You could also use more Spectral Regions for each “open string” if that’s what you are after.

Create an audio file with the references you want; then use that as a layer you mute/unmute (but that would have audio…so when it showed in SL, it would have sound…so not what you want)

Set your cursor to crosshairs on to help identify Hz on the Horizontal axis

I don’t know what your use case is

What do you mean by alternative notes?

Yeah something getting lost here
I simply to use the features found here

Specifically using note numbers when Im on a certain workflow and not a frequency

So then, those notes now need a diff tuning reference…

Yeah, you want to offset the note numbers to the freq ref you have tuned to…essentially rescaling the pitch of the units on the horizontal axis…I don’t find a way to do this

Thanks for confirming this
