From 14 Pro to Elements

I have bought the ELEMENT 14 version but have now for almost 60 days used the free Pro trial version

My question is:

Will it be possible for me to open up my files in the 14 Element version

I am aware of that some VST instruments might be missing

Also:

I cannot seem to open the ELEMENT version only the Pro Trial… Why is that? Is the Pro version overruling the ELEMENT which I can’t seem to open?

Hi,

You cannot buy Cubase LE. This is an OEM version, which you get with some hardware.

Yes, Cubase LE can open Cubase Pro projects.

If you start Cubase, it always checks the license and takes the highest one to start.

OK. The response is the same. You can open Cubase Pro projects in Cubase Elements.

Since Cubase 14 the program on the hard drive is the same - you have Elements, Artist, and Pro on your computer. It is solemnly the license that determines which features to unlock. Since you have the Pro Trial license running Cubase will start in Pro mode.
You can hold down Alt / Opt (PC / Mac) while launching Cubase and select, which edition to open.
