Yep, of course. The.cpr project files format is independent of the Cubase version used. There shouldn’t be any problem, unless you have spread inadvertently your project files/folders in Cubase ones…

Yes, you can do so.
Once you update your license, you will get Cubase 11 Artist to your USB-eLicenser. With this license you can start Cubase Artist 10.5 and work on your old projects in Cubase Artist 10.5 (if you need this for any reason).
At the other hand, you can also open all Cubase Artist 10.5 projects in Cubase 12 Pro. There is no reason codon’t do this. If you want to be 100% sure, download Cubase Pro 12 Trial first. It’s fully functional version for 30 days.
