From where can I backup my settings?

I want to change my computer, So is it possible to take all settings?
I use windows 10

If you want to move your existing preferences and shortcuts to another computer, the easiest way is to copy and paste the folder at
Mac: /Users/your-username/Library/Application Support/Steinberg/Dorico 3.5
Windows: %APPDATA%\Steinberg\Dorico 3.5

Can I save in this way also the custom made playing techniques, that I have fixed with the star, so that they appear with every new piece on my new computer?

Yep. That should work.

Great! Thanks.

Would be even better if there was a “Import/Export Settings” feature from the menu in Dorico. Most users don’t want to, or wouldn’t know to go digging in the files to backup settings. At the very least, on Windows, the Dorico settings should be stored in the users Documents folder, so that they are backed up with normal Documents backup routines.

Have you explored the Library>Library Manager?

Is that a Pro only option? I’m in elements and don’t have that menu option.

Yes, sorry, Pro only. (You pays your money…)

For Elements your best approach is to set up blank projects as templates that hold your settings for different needs.
