Frozen setting for more performance and control

Hello every body.

A suggestion for our friends at steinberg. I am an SSL uf8 user and I like to send all my channels to the SSL 360 console. since I can manipulate all the tracks as if I had a complete virtual console in my home studio. The problem is that by loading plugins plus SSL 360 plugins, I end up with slow performance and making mixes difficult.

Suggestion: would it be possible that in the option to lock the tracks and channels they give us the option to choose which plugins we want to lock? So we only print those that we are no longer going to touch but they leave us, for example, the SSL 360 to manipulate the session through its console.

Hi and welcome to the forum,

I expect, you are not talking about the Lock , you are talking about the Freeze function, right?

Please, add the feature-request tag to your post.

As a workaround you can Render in place the track with that plugin disabled and then copy it to the rendered track. It almost takes the same time as what you suggest.
