I would appreciate if there was a possibility to channel feature requests. There are countless feature requests flying around all over this forum which makes it really diffcult to keep track of.
Here´s a new category that I´d like to see in a perfect world:
A feature request tree that is split into main themes and sub topics. Each knot provides the possibility to vote for the whole branch or an underlying subdivision. In addition, you can see how many people have already voted for each knot. Under each knot are links where this specific feature request can be discussed in detail.
I am aware that this is not an easy task to implement and to maintain. However, this would definetly help to channel fruitful discussions and also supply devs with useful information. Additionally, Steinberg had an idea about the most pressing feature requests for each new version. So basically a win win for all.
