Hi everyone,
I recently started to use Cubasis on my iPhone XS and so far I’ve really been impressed with how self explanatory and easy to use it is. The only thing I have been having trouble with is using a looper auv3 (Enso Looper in this case) with my live input signal. I’d like to use my iPhone’s mic as the input, but no matter how I set everything up, nothing seems to work.
I use an audio channel for this and in the channel overview I can see that the input routing is correct (with input monitoring activated / record arm active). The mic also works for recording directly onto that track. But the signal does not get recorded into Enso, no matter if I use it as an insert or a send effect. I tried the same thing with a MIDI / virtual synth track and it works perfectly fine.
I guess Cubasis does this on purpose or doesn’t it? Is there a way to change this behaviour or do you you have any tips or workarounds? Is anyone else using fx on a live signal (amp sims?). Any hint will be appreciated, I’m running out of ideas here…
Hi @B_Rice,
Happy New Year and thanks for your message!
We suggest to get in touch with “Real-time audio looper” recording your Enso Looper/Cubasis issue.
We’re at hand to have them equipped with a Cubasis promo code for testing, if required.
Please keep me updated!
Thanks
Lars
