GA 6 right around the corner?

Cubase has GA se 6. I would think the full GA6 can’t be that far behind.

if they introduced GA6SE in Cubase 15, probably GA6 is on the way !

Probably they will let cubase 15 some time for its sale introduction, than they will jump and release GA 7 super power station

It should be free after Cubase 14.5, sorry I meant 15! Are you readly to shell out another £83 or more this week?

It definitely needs a refresh - not sure what new features they can bring to it ? and I agree with tech-dance above. If its just updates to content packs then I can wait for the sales .TBH I use drumcomputer/MPC more than GA recently ….. my 2c

Could not get the patterns to play in a seperate midi track.

Has it been updated for Cubase 15?

GA 5 is just too complicated for it’s own good.

We are making music here guys not trying to reconstruct an atom. I have 4 audio outputs selected for GA 5 in the rack but NOTHING when I add an audio track.

No Groove Agent Audio in 2/3 or 3/4 on any new audio track.

All coming out as stereo master.

Been pottering for another two hours.

I give up.

Why have all the audio outputs in the rack when they don’t work?

Please make GA not just be for the 2 percenters.

I found it easy to learn, takes about 1 hour. Halion on the other hand is hard.

This is part of there appeal, i like the idea many people quit using them for easy options, it means if you figure them out you get an advantage over other songwriters.

Any news on GA6?

I think they’re working on it.

Do you have any evidence of that? I think so too as it normally follows but haven’t seen anything to back it up

I hope the recent N.I. news hasn’t made them despondent. It gave me a wake up call. I’ve spent the last 3 days downloading and backing up all the installers of the purchases I’ve made. Like many I would imagine. It’s taken so long as the servers are slow with other producers all doing the same I imagine!

IMO, there is no evidence of GA6, but the assumption could be real because Groove Agent 6 SE is introduced and shipped with Cubase 15. GA6 SE really is an improved version in many aspects, so it’s safe to assume that Groove Agent 6 (no SE) is around the corner.

Btw, there is no use in having separate installers on your drive. Imagine this. If the company XY abruplty turn lights off, you won’t be able to authorize your installers and use them. Most of the products use some kind of online copy protection mechanism.

So, without opening their instruments and removing copy protection entirely, your installers are worthless. And if a company does that, if they open their insturments you will then need new installers anyway.

Back on topic: I feel really exctied if a Groove Agent 6 is expanded version of SE. Plenty of nice things to come our way if it’s true.

We have all the pirates to thank i.e. the same the low life ones that are killing the muic software industry.

I doubt someone about to lose their job at a software company is going to spend hours removing all the copy protection from the software before they exit

It wasn’t just Cubase 15 that was released - they also had a new Wavelab released about a week later. There has to be time between these releases as the expense adds up for those that license all the products.

Cubase 15 - beginning of November
Wavelab 13 - end of January

That’s a long week!

I can wait. Ver. 5 does everything I need. Any additions would just be icing in the cake. With that said… I will be an early adopter.
