I get this error when starting up NI Komplete Kontrol while scanning my plugins.

I have had similar problems, but not this exact error. It seems to me that you are suffering the same problem as many of us when Steinberg wants to use your e-licenser and we have no software that needs this dongle.
Do you have a e-licenser plugged in your computer? if not you could uninstall the software for the dongle. Only problem is that everytime you run the Steinberg Download Assistant it will install the software again.
or is the problem so easy that you have installed the plugins and don’t have a dongle plugged in?
