I’ve been using BFD for years. I love the wide range of articulations available: drum hits on various parts of the head, rimshots on every drum, cymbal bell/crown/edge… But I want to break out each drum piece into individual tracks, and this causes Cubase to complete stall/crash. My question is, does Grove Agent 5 have all of these same articulations?
Just a noob here with GA5 but when I open up using Acoustic Agent I see Ride Bell, Ride Edge and Ride Bow available.
GA is my go-to for drums.
For the most part - No.
Snares have 2 or 3, depending on the kit.
HiHats seem to get the most attention. Half a dozen, plus the Open setting can be modulated by CC1.
As @Easto says, Rides have 3.
Other cymbals and Toms just have the one articulation.
And there’s no custom kit.
Also and, the extra purchasable kits have no Cowbell! And I use it a lot.
