I was hoping to generate chords over divided 1st & 2nd violins, but I’m just getting notes on the first staff of each. I see that the instruments listed in the generation dialog are just 1st & 2nd violins, with no mention of div., so I assume it can’t be done at the moment. Is that right?
Yes, Dorico won’t automatically add music to divisi staves, ossias, or indeed any kind of extra staves via the Generate Notes from Chord Symbols feature.
