Generic Low Latency ASIO Driver shows no Outs

Hi, I’m new to Cubase, sorry if this seems trivial.
I’m using a laptop with windows 10 64 bits and I want to use the laptop built-in speakers for playback.
When I pick the Generic Low Latency ASIO Driver, no Outs show up at the control panel, but it shows the built-in microphone of the laptop.
When I pick the Asio4All driver I downloaded, outs show and I can hear the speakers just fine, but rest of programs outside cubase goes silent.
Can I make Generic Low Latency ASIO Driver detect my speakers? I already tried reinstalling this driver.
Thank you.

I have the same problem. There doesn’t seem to be any information on how to resolve this problem. Asio4all is not a good solution because it hijacks the sound so other application (including web browsers) can’t make a sound. And if I choose to release the driver in the background, then it won’t come back when I task-switch back to Cubase. Asio4all control panel has a red cross over the output icon and says “unavailable”.
