Getting 0x000007b Error code when Starting the Program

Hi,

I’ve been using Cubase Pro 9.5.2 with Steinberg UR 824 on my windows 10, but since I’ve updated the windows I’m not able to run the program.

Every time I try to run it, I get the error 0x000007b which says - “The application was unable to start correctly (0x000007b). Click OK to close the application”

I have tried all the methods provided here and here, as I found only them to legit, but none worked for me.

My last resort is this forum only. Has anyone faced this issue before?

It seems the Windows update changed the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable Package configuration of your system.

I would recommend to try to install Cubase 9.5.30 update (as administrator). Maybe this could fix it. If not, I would recommend to try to uninstall Cubase and install it again from the Full Installer.
