Getting cubase 13 media to line up with project timing

Right ! Just got a fix for my problem with CB13 media not in time with my project when selecting samples.
Although they play at the project tempo when auditioning them when I double clicked a sample it did not line up with the project tempo ( as it did in CB12 ).
The answer to this problem was the new addition of the ‘Object selection’ pointer… when left clicking this little icon you are presented with three options they are NORMAL SIZING / SIZING MOVES CONTENT and SIZING APPLIES TIME STRETCH ! and when option 3 is selected you can do pretty much any time stretching to the loop you want … but most of all you can get a sample to your project tempo.
My hope is, that this will help anyone that had this unsolved problem.

Also, regarding my last post, if you haven’t set the ’ *convert to project settings and copy to project folder if needed’ in the PREFERENCES * in my opinion you should … then every media sample will be adjusted to your project timing when selected… Deep breath and sleep LOL

If the Align Beats to Project switch is activated in the MediaBay at the bottom right, the sample is automatically adjusted to the project tempo when it’s inserted to a track.

thanks so much!
hard to see this!! ;D

Well actually, some samples dont work even though it is clicked.
A normal straight drum fill but not in the project tempo when dragged and dropped? whats wrong?
another one was correct but 2x slower tempo and not usable. what to do?
thanks, matt

A prerequisite for correct automatic tempo adjustment is the recognition of the original tempo. If the audio material doesn’t allow reliable tempo detection for various reasons, the adjustment to the project tempo will not work either.

Check this video out:

original tempo in pool window is same than in media bay, correct tempo
still no alignment that works.
so not sure what to do? can do more videos if you like.

Unfortunately no more answers?
By the way: can I insert all kind of samples/sounds into (my) Cubase Media Bay and if yes, how? thanks
