Hi, I’m frequently getting this strange pop ups. It doesn’t matter what score is open. It happens in all of them. There are no other applications open and the file picker is closed. I seems to be remnants left over from the picker dialogue? Anyone else see this? Here is a video (hope it works). I tried to capture ghosts.
Occasionally I’ve found that if I hover over notes, labels of the title of files on my desktop appear.
When I notice this, I can reproduce by hovering over particular spots, but if I scroll away, or close/reopen, the behaviour goes away.
It’s not reproducible and so I guess it doesn’t matter anyway.
Thanks, but it’s starting to interfere with note entry and editing. Also, it is not “bleeding through” so to speak from the desktop. It’s not lables of files on the desktop in my case. It’s left over text from the file picker and is in alpabetical order of those files. I guess, as you say nothing can be done about it. Thanks anyway.
This has been happening to me as well for a couple of years. However, I haven’t noticed it recently. It seems to come and go. It’s been mentioned before on the forum, but I don’t know if anything‘s been done about it.
I see. I can reproduce it every time here, but I’m sure the developers probably won’t be able to? I guess I’ll need a good exorcist!

It’s either a bug that Apple needs to fix; or it’s in the Qt framework that the Dorico use to build their apps. I don’t think it’ something that the team can fix themselves.
I think its a bug in Apple. It happens in Finale as well and in a few other random apps
Ok thanks. So I won’t bother with it.
