I’ve been using Cubase pro since June this year (2020) and have recently upgraded to Cubase Pro 11. Before that I had Cubase Elements 10.5, which is still licenced to me.
A friend and I have recently started collaborating on a few tunes, but he has no DAW at the moment other than the 2 week trial of Elements.
So… as I no longer require Elements 10.5 would I be able to give that away so he has a means to work in the same DAW (although a less well featured version)?
Thoughts, anyone?
Sure, if you have an elements license you can give it away or sell it, the catch is that it has to be transferred to a USB key to actually give to someone, so there is some cost.
