Global Delete?

Hi Im on Cubase pro 8. Is there a function which will delete what is between the left and right locators?

Hi,

Edit > Range > Cut Time or Delete Time. Is this what you are looking for? Or do you want to delete just events, and keep the time? Do you want to delete it in the currently selected track or in all tracks?

Hi!
Ive tried Cut Time and Delete Time but what seems to happen is it gets rid of what between the locaters then closes the gap. what lm after is getting rid of whats between the faders and having silence. I just thought there would be a short cut rather than getting the scissors out and to cut the tracks then deleting them all between the locators

I see. And what about Range > Split and then Delete? Does it work to you? If yes, you can create a very short Macro from it, and assign your own Key Command.
