Why don’t you try for us Lars? I suggest you buy an Android phone and try a bit yourself. I’m sure the interface department can spare you an UR22 for free.
It is now Oct. 2024 and as yet I’ve not been able to get any help from Google.
The work around you provide by disabling midi i/o is ok if you want to listen to your work with Studio monitors. The problem is if you need to add another midi track, you have to re enable midi i/o and therefore listen to your mobile devices speakers. The quality of the midi voice cannot be compared to studio monitors so how do you select the midi voice you want when it is not represented properly. This costs a lot of time switching back and forth the midi i/o.
All I got from google was to upload an error report when the issue in fault and not being able to use Audio and midi at the same time. because there is no is no error with Cubasis there is no fault and they close the ticket.
Is there any news from google. I’ve had no luck.
Thank You
As stated in our support message, Google introduced the issue with their release of Android 13. Unfortunately, it’s up to them to resolve the problem, which is unrelated to Cubasis.
Best wishes,
Lars
