I have the 12th Cubase version and not ready to buy the 14th update.
I read somewhere that you can buy the 13th version update at the exact time of the “grace period” then the price is really less high. I don’t how to be informed when the “grace period” appears and/or if you need to validate something on the Steinberg site or to do anything else, neither if there is a date for the “grace period”.

You can not buy Cubase 13 anymore, every purchase will be for Cubase 14 now. However, the license will allow you to run Cubase 13 as well.
The grace period is always a four week period before the launch of a new major release, so the next grace period will be before Cubase 15. But Steinberg never announces a new release date.
What you can do is to wait for one of the sales events, that Steinberg offers during the year. The last sales event ended beginning of October, so there will be probably no more sales for the rest of this year.
