What’s the best way to make slurs from low grace notes to high main notes look good?
(In the slice, bar 2 looks awkward. I have attached a file dorico_questions.dorico (784.7 KB) to show my settings.)
Slurs from grace notes seems to be an area where Dorico could use some improvement. I think some users have settings they prefer to the defaults for generally good results; other than that, you’d need to adjust them in Engrave mode.

It’s not only in grace notes, but slurs on big leaps in general, like octaves, often don’t look good. The issue has been mentioned repeatedly here in the forum, so the Team knows about it. Let’s hope they eventually find an opportunity to improve it.
