Is it possible to set the grace note by default as appogiatura? In the score I am engraving there are no acciaccaturas and I have to change all of them manually, and in this piece, there are a lot of them.
I don’t know about setting it by default, but before you enter them, you know you can use Alt-/ to change the behaviour of / from acciaccatura to appoggiatura and vice-versa.
Or maybe you knew that.
No, I didn’t know that, but also, I cannot get it to work. When exactly do I use the alt key? Together with shift to go into grace-mode? That doesn’t make a difference.

Have a look at what happens to the grace note icon (in the left panel) when you type Alt+/
It’s a toggle.
