There doesn’t appear to be a way to include the grace notes in the cue in the example below without also including the next note of the upper staff (B1). I also included a screenshot of what happens if I move the end of the cue 1 step to the right in the lower staff.
Note: The C natural of the grace notes in the upper staff (Vi.1) is marked ‘before the barline’. It is not possible to mark all 3 grace notes as ‘before the barline’.
Any suggestions for including only the grace notes without the B1 natural of the upper staff (Vi.1)?

Indeed, since they actually belong to the first beat of the next bar, it looks like it’s not possible to have the grace notes in the cue without having the first real note…
A solution could be to enter the grace notes as real notes in a tuplet (and the dotted half also, then):
Hi @kleinesteentjes, in this scenario. setting in Engrave mode the last cued eight note Custom size to 1% hides it behind the middle staff line (if the note would be in the space, it would be minimally visible):
