Hey Steinberg team, long time user of Cubase and somewhat new user of Dorico here. I am loving the products and have enjoyed Dorico’s workflow quite a bit.
I am looking for a feature or workaround to be able to display 8-string guitar music with a closed Grand Staff and TAB. I am looking to publish some compositions for the instrument soon and I do not feel treble clef alone is legible enough for this range.

This idea has been brought up in a few threads before, but I have not seen a solution for it.

Please let me know if I have missed this feature, or if there is a workaround, or if it is simply too niche to have been considered. I am adding my voice to the demand. Hopefully there is something we can do.
I am currently using Dorico 5 Pro, I would be willing to upgrade to Dorico 6 if needed. I am already considering it for the proofreading feature.

. Whether or not this will be in a subsequent 6.x release is anyone’s guess, although I suspect it is indeed quite niche while requiring considerable programming effort (i.e. nope). But the developers take note of every request here, so by all means add your voice to the pile.
