Graphic Slice: How to disable the PNG Alpha Channel?

Hi, a quick question:

I need to disable the alpha channel on the PNG Graphic Slice, so the background is not transparent. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

This is not a direct answer, but I have found it easier to always export to PDF.

From there, you could convert to PNG, either through Acrobat, or online via Cloud Convert.

Thank you @dan_kreider

I have actually been doing JPG converting to PNG (The publisher requirement), but I just wanted to reduce the steps  The Finale habit won’t die easily.

Definitely don’t recommend JPG, as it can look bad for lines. I would try PDF>PNG.

Doesn’t disabling the “Transparent background” option available in the Graphic Slices panel lead to the desired result?

If I am not mistaken, this transparency setting works, I was needing to check it off and on as I was preparing some graphics a couple of weeks ago.

A big whoops! How did I miss that! Embarrassing

Thank you so much!

Since we are here, I have one more question. How does Graphic Slice determine the target file path (Destination Folder)? Whenever I open the UI, the pre-entered path is not what I set for the Project path in the pref but something totally unrelated.

Actually, I would like the path to be last used (not the same as the Project path). Is there any way to make it?

Thank you in advance.

I think this is the latest information (we are awaiting an improvement):

Actually you might have missed it easily if you had set it to mono (as it is faded out a little) and this makes sense in a way, because you might choose mono because it is black notation on white.
