Graphical issue in Wavelab pro 12 interface

Hi guys, I have a “little” problem with my Wavelab pro 12 (last version 12.0.10).
It presents a graphical issue in the Inspector window: I can’t see any buttons, faders, effects slots… just a grey window.
I tried to re-install Wavelab, but the graphic issue remains .
Here a screenshot… to show you what I see

My Mastering PC is a intel i7 12700H, 16 GB RAM DDR4, NVidia RTX 3070 8GB GDDR6 (it works perfectly in mastering session).

I tried to install wavelab pro 12 on another PC with AMD ryzen and AMD Radeon graphic card and the program works without issues… but this is not my work laptop.
Any ideas??
Thanks to you all, friends.
regards

Try menu Workspace > Layout > Default

Does that help?

Good afternoon Sir,
unfortunately, the problem remains.
Is there a section where someone can perform a graphic cache cleaning?
I don’t know if is a good idea.

Please show a picture of your whole screen (which size and scaling, by the way?)

Try also erasing this file:
\AppData\Roaming\Steinberg\WaveLab Pro 12\Presets\WindowLayout4__last

Well, I wanna thank you Sir because your last post gave me a “solution”: My work laptop is a MSI Katana and I use it with an external screen connected via HDMI cable. With the previous version of Wavelab Pro I had the problem that the entire daw would freeze if I loaded plugins in the secondary screen. I was forced to disconnect the secondary screen, restart the PC, load the daw and only then reconnect the secondary screen and work in a larger space. today the same thing happened: i unplugged the secondary screen, started wavelab and as if by magic the inspector was there and working! then i plugged in the secondary screen and moved the daw there and the inspector is still working, allowing me to finish mastering.
Of course I know that this is not normal behaviour, as it could cause me to freeze without having the possibility of saving my work, but at least I know that both the programme and the laptop are working well.

thanks a lot
Regards
Angelo

Hi PG,

I am having the exact same issue, sometimes when deleting this file you suggested, the issue goes away. However, the next time i re-launch wavelab, the issue appears again. The only thing you can click is the filter options, moving and redocking or floating the insert window also does not change anything. I have tried remaining with the default layout after deleting the file, but it does not impact that it comes back on relaunch.

Is there anything else to try? Or something I could provide you for further investigation?

Wavelab insert area error

I have seemingly been able to resolve it so far, after removing the __Last file and getting it open properly, I re saved a new layout presets instead of switching to ones imported from wavelab 11.2 after it launching without the bug.

So far I have relaunched several times and it works correctly. I couldn’t figure this out the other day when it started.
