I hate to re-visit this annoying topic again, but after searching for a solution I have been unsuccessful. Its the same graphics glitch I had with Cubase 12,come back to cripple me in Cubase 13. Moving the mouse or scrolling or clicking on the GUI causes colour changes,white-outs,line eliminations etc.I have tried the NVIDIA control panel changes to no avail. (VSync to Fast worked on Cubase 12 but not this time.)
NVIDIA 4070Ti/Intel I7/48 Ram/Cubase 13.041…
My question: What is the consensus on how to solve this??
I am the re-install Cubase 13 stage-but I really dont want to do that.
Thanks to all.
Hi,
Please try this:
- Download the latest Studio driver version from here. If there is no Studio driver for your graphic card, use the one, which is available and continue with the same steps below.
- Disconnect the computer from the Internet to ensure Windows will not download and install its graphic driver.
- Uninstall the NVIDIA driver.
- Restart the computer.
- Start the NVIDIA driver installation (as administrator).
- Don’t install the whole package, use the Custom (Advanced) settings.
- Disable everything (don’t install NVIDIA Experience, PhysX, etc.), and keep the video driver enabled.
- Connect your computer to the internet.

Thanks Martin. Going to follow your steps now. Will report back.
Happy to report that Cubase 13’ graphics glitch appears to be fixed.I can not reproduce the previous GUI errors. Out of curiosity,I tried both the Nvidia “Studio” driver and then uninstalled it and installed the “GameReady” driver. Both drivers seem to work well. Nvidia forces its Experience option on you in the custom install, but so far all is well.
Thank you Martin. You have bailed me out several times with your speedy solutions.
