Green bars in the window, and the video does not automatically adjust to the window. Stretch function inactive with mp4. Should I choose a different format?

tried with 2.291, new project, drag mp4 video, play, size, no problems.
One possible pitfall might occur when you load an older project, if so, it should be fixed with the next version. Please try: new project, drag the video that causes problems into VST Live and check if it works, thanks.
mp4 is a container format which inside can hold a vast variety of codec formats. If the video plays at all, it should play ok.
