Hello, just updated Groove Agent to 6.0.30
I’m always updating to the newest versions, but this time I think i have al little problem.
When selcting Groove agent in Media Bay, and for example select Color Punch, double click a preset to insert it as a new track immediately there is a pop up showing cubase isnt’t stable anymore due to Groove agent.
This Issue shows in Groove Agent 6 and Groove Agent 6 SE
Same issue within Cubase Pro 14
Anyone the same experience?
Wished there was a ‘undo’ updating function within Steinberg Download Assistant… 
I get the same message when starting a GA6 patch right from the right Media Bay window. But here Cubase doesn’t seem to crash despite the message.
An easy workaround is to insert a GA track and browse for presets from there: then I don’t get the error message.

Thanks, creating a groove agent track first works.
I made a support ticket to Steinberg, i think its not hard to fix with a 6.0.31 update

@Jan_Riesener Do you knwo about this issue? Support is telling me my operating system must be corrupted? But the problem appeared after the update…And I’m on all latest updates etc. Happens with CB 15 and CB 14, so update to latest CB15 didn’t do the trick.
Visual c+++ no faults, windows no faults.
second strange behavior, only Groove agent is the preview. It always starts with excessive volume witch almost blow your monitor. Klicking once on volume decreases volume to aproximately -3 db, withc is a little lower than normal presets?
Any suggestions?
I can duplicate the OP - Cubase 15.0.30, Groove Agent 6.0.30.
The workaround that @jim_knopf references works. That’s how I typically create a track - it has never occurred to me to take the path that the OP took, though I can see the advantages of that.
@ru.paas I’m afraid I can’t comment on that. I am not inolved in any support request and don’t have access to the information.
Does the stand alone version of Groove Agent also have the preview volume issue?
Standalone works correctly.
But its getting frustrating. Would be nice if Support could confirm it’s a bug within the update instead of making it an individual problem.
Today 2nd time initialise program preferences, re install media bay, initialize Groove agent preferences etc…always time consuming with no result at all.
I wiched I never did the update…but thanks for your reply @Jan_Riesener
@ru.paas I understand your fruststration, but I am not sure why the support should confirm something what isn’t the case. That wouldn’t fix the problem either. If it would be a fundamental problem caused by the update, I would be able to reproduce it here and my colleagues from tne support deparmnent as well.
If you could send me your Cubase project-file, I can check it here and see if I can find something.
Hello @Jan_Riesener thanks for respons. Yes, it’s not shure at this moment if it could be an induvidual problem or something had to do with the update. At least 3 people within this forum have same issue. maybe more, I can’t tell.
Problem occured before update to 15.030 in CB 15.021 and new Groove Agnet update 6.030.
Meaaning (for me) its a Groove agent thing instead of CB ?
It is Project independent. When using existing projects ‘the preset insert from mediabay’’ produces crash dump at first use. But also with new projects.
Only the Groove agent presets produce these crashdumps.
I noticed the groove agent track created with the double kick or move into project workaround, creates the Groove agent as followed picture. It’s named Cowboy shuffle. But below that still named: ‘‘The Kit’’ No patterns or sounds are loaded.
When first loading a Groove agent instanse folowed bij selecting the same preset Cowboy shuffle, it’s named as followed and sounds and patterns are okay.
Hope this would give some direction for root cause analyses. Hoping this Forum have input and help. Also sharing this new insight with support.

@ru.paas That was very helpful information. I still can’t reproduce the volume issue but I now have also Groove Agent crashing Cubase by loading a preset from the right-zone MediaBay. Loading the same preset from GA’s MediaBay is working fine. So it could be Groove Agent or Cubase or both.
I will inform our developers. They will take care.
It’s been a month now. Is there any news about it?
Having Groove Agent 6 crashing Cubase 15, it is not a funny joke!
