Groove Agent and Media Bay Issues (CPU utilization increase suddenly)

Hello fellow Cubase enthusiasts,

I’ve been encountering some frustrating issues with Cubase, particularly related to Groove Agent and Media Bay. I’m hoping someone here might have some insights or solutions. Here are the details:

  1. Groove Agent Slow to Open:
  • When I open the Groove Agent interface, it takes an unusually long time to load. The processing circle appears, but no samples are loaded. This also increases CPU utilization.
  • System Configuration:
    • Operating System: Windows 11 Professional (64-bit)
    • Processor: Intel Core i9-900K
    • Sample Rate: 48,000 Hz
  1. Media Bay Slow to Load Samples:
  • Media Bay keeps processing but doesn’t display samples and loops promptly. It’s taking longer than usual.
  • I’ve tried resetting attributes and creating volume databases, but the issue persists.

Request for Help: If anyone has experienced similar issues or has any suggestions, please share your insights. Your expertise would be greatly appreciated!

I dont think I have that issue. The only thing i can think of off the top of my head is, go into the anti-virus settings and exclude all the media bay content.

Also, it could be a comparability issue with W11. GA is an older product and released for W7 I think.
