I recently purchased Absolute and everything installed fine and it is all good except Groove Agent seems to have a few libraries that are not licenced, question is, why did they install or have I not installed it correctly and if so how do I add the licences or how do I remove the libraries without messing everything up?
1 example is Alternative Essentials, quite a few essentials packs
I will need to check when I get home. But make sure you installed and activated all the content itself. its separate from GA. check media bay.
All my licences are activated in the manager and they are in Media bay and showing with the no entry sign on each preset
I am afraid this is a library that is sold seperately. It is not included in Absolute 6.
I guess you went to the Steinberg Download Assistant, found the section “Groove Agent Drum Kits and Styles” and installed everything inside?
The Download Assistant shows your licensed products in the section “My Product Downloads”. Any other entries in the Assistant are a catalogue of items that Steinberg also sells.
This assistant does a real poor job of guiding customers between “what is theirs” and “what could be theirs for extra money”.
Thanks for the info Johnny. I will remove them, I thought that was the case but didn’t want do anything until I had it confirmed. They appear to have installed automatically with Absolute, I didn’t install from anywhere else
