There is probably an easy answer to this that somehow is evading me. I am trying to use a Snare Brush Instrument. I have Acoustic Agent Shuffle Brush loaded in Groove Agent and have the drum map set up. I want to use Snare Brush Pattern 2 - D0 in a song I have (I am not clear why it is called a pattern yet is listed as an instrument in GA, but that is probably a different matter). I can see and play the instrument/pattern in GA, but in the Drum Editor the D0 pitch is mapped to a pattern call Main 1. The Snare Brush Pattern 2 - D0 is no where to be seen.
I am assuming there is a way to make the Snare Brush Pattern - DO editable in the Drum Editor, but I have yet to figure it. Can anyone provide with ideas or points me to documentation/videos that can help me out? Thanks.
Hi!
The Acoustic Agent Styles adhere to strict rules, in order to function with the complexity controls etc.
This means, we can not make them available for editing inside Groove Agent.
But of course everyone wants to use styles for jamming and then change the patterns individually later.
This is why you can drag the selected pattern into your DAW arrangement from the little arrow button. There you have full midi control.
When you want to bring the beat back into Groove Agent, for example to trigger it with a note, you can drag it onto the pad you want or into the midi tabs drop field.
You will loose the style controls for that pad, but the pattern will sound exactly how you programmed it.

Thanks for the assistance. I am familiar with dragging patterns into an GA instrument track. The “pattern” I am trying to use isn’t found in the patterns, but instead is identified as an instrument and therefore it is not draggable (if that is even a word). I am trying to use this instrument and can’t figure out how to access it. I want to use a snare brush “hit” in the drum editor the same way I would use a snare or kick hit. I can’t find anyway to get the MIDI note assigned to the snare brush. Hopefully this explains it a little better.
