I just got this error message while downloading Cubase to my computer:

Groove Agent SE Rock Pop Toolbox Drums installation failed. The upgrade cannot be installed by the Windows installer service because the program to be upgraded may be missing, or the upgrade may update a different version of the program. Verify that the program to be upgraded exists on your computer and that you have the correct upgrade.
Error Code: 1642

I am running Windows 10 64 bit, and I am installing all this stuff to the default directories. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I just experienced the same install failure with the same version Cubase and Windows 10. Did you resolve this issue?

I’m trying to install Cubase 8.0 Pro Educational on Windows 8.1 and I received this error also. Does anyone have a resolution or a recommendation of what I should do to continue the install? Thanks in advance.
