Hello.
I understand how Exclusive Groups work in Cubase, but one thing I haven’t figure out is how to set them up for multiple pads when using the “key range”.
So the key range is there for us to be able to play samples chromatically and it’s pretty much straight forward. However, once you put a sample on a single pad, and then enable “key range” those new assigned pads within the key range are not selectable. Thus you cannot highlight them to put them in the same group.
EG: I have an 808 kick sample that I want to play chromatically. Being an 808 kick “bass” I want it to be mono and thus should put all that range in the same exclusive group so they choke each other. I have no way of doing this that I can figure out. Probably something dumb on my end so please enlighten me. ![]()
Thanks,
Comb
