Ground Loop sound only on instrument tracks

Any time I insert a new instrument track a bunch of noise comes out of my speakers. It’s typically white noise sometimes it sounds like a sawtooth but I can’t stop the sound. The volume meter does move up and down and I AM ABLE to turn down the volume.

I can play itunes, youtube, etc just fine without any ground loop.

No one is going to be able to offer any suggestions without having some info about your DAW and interface configuration. Lot’s of folks put that into their signatures so it’s always available.
